:: About Dr. Micky Riggs, M.D.

Dr. Micky Riggs is a psychiatrist, personal coach, and freelance writer living in Seattle Washington. He holds a medical degree from Yale University, a B.A. in history, and an M.A. in English Literature. He has published widely in the field of perfomance anxiety and is at present at work on a book about entrepreneurial creativity as it relates to social problems. He is the editor of a journal on medical rhetoric, and of several newsletters related to the art and science of marketing with words. The entrepreneurial mind, he believes, has a general social and humanistic value in that “entrepreneurs are the very embodiment of psychological resilience and failure tolerance- the two most critical attributes of the person who wants to lead a meaningful life.” He offers courses in motivation, and is particularly interested in helping to make personal coaching and editing services available to entrepreneurs who are “millionaires with no money”- in other words, poor in cash flow and rich in ideas.
