Entrepreneur Launches David vs. Goliath Lawsuit Against Facebook

Jason Hardebeck is taking on the Goliath of social networking, Facebook. Hardebeck's Baltimore-based tech firm WhoGlue Inc. alleges that Facebook has infringed on a patent for methods of allowing social media users more control over their online privacy that he filed with the U.S. Patent Office in 2001. The patent was approved in 2007.

Hardebeck has been described as a "serial entrepreneur." He has founded several companies and was Maryland's first "entrepreneur in residence." He currently serves as the executive director of the Maryland Business Council.
