Few Entrepreneurs to Hire Employees

The Kauffman Foundation sponsored a live web broadcast for entrepreneurs around the globe, and they announced their survey findings. In 2010, the economy looks so bad that 71 percent of entrepreneurs don't plan to hire anyone. These critical findings could add to the downturn of our economy as entrepreneurs are usually considered to be the nation's foremost job creators.
"A third of entrepreneurs have cut employment and nearly two-thirds have seen sales and profits decline." Kauffman CEO Carl Schramm said, "these findings were uncharacteristically negative for a group that steadily creates new businesses whether times are good or bad.
