Gizmo5's Future

Four years ago, a new internet program for audible communication was bought by Ebay. This new program, Skype, was making lives easier by allowing families, companies and friends to chat through a webcam and microphone for free. This was an instant hit and other programs began to emerge, one of the most recognized is Gizmo5.
Now that Skype has grown large enough to become it's own company, Ebay is trying to sell its rights to an investor group and Skype is trying to branch out by trying to buy Gizmo5. Gizmo5 has a $50 million range price tag and Skype is willing to pay the price to prevent peer-to-peer competition in the future. Skype has more than 405 million registered users and Gizmo5 currently has about 6 million subscribers, this would greatly reduce Skype's competition.
