Kinky Friedman At It Again

After losing the last governor race, Kinky has been determined to get a position in Texas government. He's an entertainer-author that runs an animal rescue program and lives on his family's Hill Country ranch that has an ag exemption on property taxes. Kinky filed last week in the March 2 Democratic primary against East Texas rancher Hank Gilbert for state agriculture commissioner.
Questions are still rising about Friedman's eligibility on the matter , but he's determined to get into the legislature. In a state where it's easier to qualify as a candidate for governor than agriculture commissioner, Friedman's emergence in the battle for the Democratic nomination in the farm chief's race has sparked questions about whether he meets the legal requirements for that particular statewide position.
