Kiwi Rocket Reaches Space

A small, private company launched New Zealand's first rocket into space on a small island off the country's coast. Sheep went running for the hills as the 18-foot rocket raced into the sky 62 miles above the Earth's surface.
After the rocket entered space, it turned back toward Earth and splashed down in the ocean. The Rocket Lab team is currently trying to locate the whereabouts of the rocket and are urging everyone to not touch the device if they find it. Instead, GPS coordinates should be sent to the lab ASAP.
