LSU starts a Student Entrepreneur Organization

Louisiana State University is starting the Society for Emerging Networkers & Student Entrepreneurs (SeNSE), an organization for local students and professional entrepreneurs. The SeNSE will provide students and entrepreneurs from the greater Baton Rouge area to gather and share resources that promote business growth. "SeNSE members will have the opportunity to network at traditional 'hubs' like coffee shops and student unions and also on social media sites online," stated Sean Simone, LSU student and founder of the organization. There are also plans to start chapters at surrounding schools Southern, BRCC and SLU, and may eventually expand into New Orleans. The first meeting will be held Tuesday at 7p.m. at LSU's Swine Palace, featuring Michael Trufant of NH Holding as its guest speaker.
