The three winners of the National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge will meet President Obama today in the Oval Office. The contest targets youths from low-income communities and challenges them to build their entrepreneurial skills and creativity by creating a business plan and model. Kalief Rollins, a college freshman from Carson, CA, won the first prize by developing a business plan for his custom T-shirt line. Second place went to Zoe Damacela, a senior in high school, who also created a business plan for her apparel line. Scott Paiva took home third place by creating a tax preparation service for young people unfamiliar with filing their taxes. All three winners will have time to meet with the president today.
