SBA Expands Entrepreneurship Program for Veterans

Until recently, the U.S. Small Business Administration has offered a year-long Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities for interested veterans. Now, the SBA has expanded this bootcamp to create a three-year entrepreneurship program, in conjunction with its Office of Veterans Business Development. The program offers entrepreneurship training and courses for service-disabled veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
There are also new online contracting tutorials at http://www.sba.gov for veterans and military spouses who own small businesses. The course is free online, and teaches it's students how to identify and take advantage of federal contracting opportunities.
Six universities are working with the SBA to offer this program to a wide range of the American population. Texas A&M University's Mays Business School is one of the six schools confirmed on this project.
