A survey was conducted by the National University of Singapore Entrepreneurship Centre to discover what college students wanted to be once they graduated - the results were astounding! 18 percent of tertiary students that were polled wanted to become entrepreneurs, 69 percent preferred a regular salaried job and 13 percent were unsure about their future. With 1 in 5 students wanting to become an entrepreneur, Singapore now has a higher rate of young entrepreneurs creating new ideas for the market.
Today's young people are looking t be their own boss, put new ideas into motion and create their own business to prove to the world that young people have great ideas too. Teens and young adults have always told their parents "you have no idea what I'm talking about, you just don't understand", well, maybe these kids were right. Maybe today's kids do have a brighter future than what we imagined it to be, and they are taking charge by setting their own rules and regulations with their new-found dream job.
