Saturday, January 10th, Drury University will be hosting a seminar on starting a business at home for women. The program will focus on building business plans, marketing your business with little to no budget, creating a business budget, and basic business-legal issues. Many of the questions to be answered at the seminar are those that the average business starter just won't know.
Women are a strong part of the entrepreneurship community, and starting businesses at home is often the most fruitful options for women with young families. Entrepreneurship often offers individuals the ability to bring in additional income without sacrificing other life goals. Entrepreneurs can tailor their new business to their particular needs, rather than being controlled by a 9-to-5, 40 hour a week job.
The Women's Entrepreneurship Symposium will be from 8AM till 1:00 PM on January 10th. Admission is $20.
