Investors have been buzzing about Twitter, which is now worth $1 billion, but entrepreneurs are making money from the free social networking service. Chris Russo, a sports entrepreneur, founded Fantasy Sports Ventures in 2006, and is now getting a piece of McDonald's marketing millions with Twitter. His company is helping McDonald's reach fantasy football players with a branded product that aggregates "tweets" about the subject. Russo's total revenue is expected to double this year to $10 million, thanks to McDonald's and Twitter. Other small business have profitted from Twitter as well, selling a variety of goods, from Twitter tee-shirts to tools that help business manage their accounts. Representatives from Twitter have no problem with this profitable arrangement.
