UTSA-The Incubator

While the University of San Antonio has been around since 1969, it has just recently opened the new Incubator facility. UTSA may be the fastest growing institution in Texas, and also be the second largest of the nine academic universities, but it is also one of the six health institutions in the UT Systems in Texas. By opening up the Incubator Lab they are allowing other companies like ViroXis Corp.,to come in and identify and patent compounds for infectious diseases and cancer therapies.
