If you have ever taken part in a multi-level marketing scheme, or are familiar with blog advertising, spam schemes and other methods that will supposedly generate thousands per month in passive income, well there is a new such business: give away credit cards, and you will have a free website that generates passive income for you. Are these businesses worth it, or are they yet another form of pyramid scam?

The question is still somewhat debatable because this system has not been in existence for very long. The business structure works as such: the organization behind one of these systems provides you with a free website for you to market your credit card business, for just the cost of a minor transaction fee. You then simply have to get a few people to sign up for your credit cards, and then you can keep the website for as long as you wish, and enjoy the revenue that it produces. The only catch is that there is a small minimum that you must produce in order to keep the website for free, or else there is a monthly charge of about $30-$50 that you must pay to continue using it. Luckily, it is only about four credit cards that you have to sell, and then you have the website for as long as you wish, and you can have your business give away credit cards while you reap the cash.

Unfortunately, this is a bit more difficult than it seems simply because the marketing involved in this is a bit more challenging than one would expect. Marketing credit cards is a bit more involved than a simple website, since most people would vastly prefer a large name that they trust rather than a small independent website. While it is certainly possible to get people to get their credit cards through your system, there is going to be a lot of work that has to go into getting people to do it. And as you might have expected, many people will not succeed even in getting their required minimum and will end up paying the monthly use cost.

But what about those who do make it? Well, as I’ve said, if they are actually able to get a steady stream of clients then they make a regular commission on their sales. The commission that they do get will, naturally, come after what has been required to cover the small cost of their website.

On the plus side, however, there is no multi-level marketing or anything else, it is simple, straightforward marketing. You can have a lucrative business give away credit cards, but be mindful of the fact that it will probably require more work than you realize.
