Actelis Raises $10 million in Venture Capital

Actelis Networks, Inc, a developer of "ethernet over copper" has successfully completed another round of venture capital. Opting to tap their existing profile of investors (ATA Ventures, Carlyle Venture Partners, and Dupont Capital Management among others).

Actelis's niche primarily involves working with major telecoms to develop ethernet based solutions for delivering data in the "first mile". They call this "Ethernet in the First Mile".

Despite having much success in landing contracts in the European market, Actelis is focusing again on the United States. Actelis is looking at $150 million total in investment over the last decade, leaving a large balance sheet to make up. CEO Tuvia Barlev indicated that there would not likely be many future rounds of investment, as the firm is looking for some form of exit in the next few years.
