Bjork Becomes a Venture Capitalist

with the new year comes new roles, and nothing is more different than the life Icelandic Singer Bjork will be living in 2009. Bjork is teaming up with Audur Capital to help restore her country's economy. Audur Capital is a Reykjavik based venture capital firm that is notorious for yielding big stars as well as big returns.
The venture, which is known as BJ/RK will invest in green companies to help the country become more environmentally and socially aware of Iceland's current situation. Hopefully this awareness will result in an upturn of the economy.
Iceland has been one of the first European countries hit by the global economic crisis.
The major banks of Iceland have all been nationalized and its currency has taken a sharp fall as a result.
The BJ/RK fund has already initialized an investment in the new quarter and is looking for more investors to participate in the fund.
