Business and Ten Thousand Hours
By Malcolm Bohall on 2010-03-14 22:12:12
When you venture out on your own to start a business, you need to ask yourself, are you really prepared for this or not. In most cases, you would answer "NO". A gentleman by the name of Malcolm Gladwell wrote a book titled "Outliers".
In his book he says that every new entrepreneur at least needs 10,000 hours of work, in whatever line of work they wish to work in. If you don't have the hours, then go to the business field and work in it for a while to build it up.
When you do decide what type of field to go into, be sure to get expert advice from people you know that are already in that line of work. It does not hurt, to ever ask for advice, or even help for that matter.
