Entrepreneur Launches New Approach to Fundraising

Tom Freiling of Orlando, FL, knows what to do during a recession: quit your job. He's so good at it, he's done it twice.
During the brief economic downturn following September 11, 2001, Freiling started an online book publishing business that he eventually sold to Salem Communications, after building it up to a multi-million dollar enterprise.
Six months ago at the height of the current recession, Freiling quit his job once again and started from scratch. This time he created Samaritan Fundraising, a firm dedicated to meeting the fundraising needs of churches and other religious organizations. The company is already on track to do over a million dollars in sales in its first year.
While Samaritan Fundraising will offer a full range of fundraising products and services, it's premier offering at present the Samaritan Card. The card, which offers shopping discounts, can be resold by Samaritan customers to their donors.
