From junkyards to vehicle recycling: expanding the family business

JSL Management started out as a 1/3 acre junkyard a couple of decades ago. Thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of Dan and Janet Rush, the company has since expanded to 21 locations with a total of 50 acres. The secret? Finding a niche and fulfilling customers' needs.
JSL now focuses on recycling and salvaging vehicles, working with small businesses and individuals to recycle about 500 tons of metal every day. Their towing division works with cities to tow away irreparably damaged vehicles. They recondition and resell auto parts and tires, and they even have an online inventory database for customers.
