Iraqi US Embassy on Facebook

The US Embassy in Baghdad started a Facebook page and is currently looking for Iraqi friends. The page was launched on Thursday with hopes for reaching out to the Iraqis that want to learn more about American culture and society. Their goal is to boost Iraq's interest in online culture and to promote Web entrepreneurship.
In recent months, top executives from Google, Twitter, AT&T and others have visited Iraq from the organization of the State Department. Recently, the embassy helped set up a YouTube channel for the Iraqi government.
